2024.07.09 Release Updates

Added

  • LCD-37142 - Toggle to Allow Shell Access For Contributors: Added a toggle on the Settings page which allows admins to grant or block shell access to contributors. This mitigates a potential security vulnerability since users with the contributor role will have access to secrets which admins set as not visible to contributors.
  • LCD-37732 - Elasticsearch Version Update: Updated Elasticsearch to versions 8.13.4, enhancing search capabilities and ensuring greater system stability and performance.
  • LCD-37862 - Log Readability Improvements: Made improvements to the logs feature by adding line breaks to avoid lateral scrolling and increasing the readability of important JSON content, improving the overall user experience.

Bug Fixes

  • LCD-38376 - Incorrect Log Levels in CI Service: Addressed an issue where info messages were appearing as errors in the logs.
