In general, Liferay does not test or certify the product for use with specific storage technologies. However, the product has a built-in integration point with Amazon S3 Bucket. This integration point is listed on the Compatibility Matrix and has been tested to assure compatibility.

Other storage technologies (e.g. NAS, SAN, NTFS, ext2, or NFS) have not been verified through compatibility testing. Customers may use these technologies without affecting their ability to receive Subscription Services as long as their Application Server, Database, JDK and Operating Systems are certified for use with the product as indicated on the Compatibility Matrix.
