How do I activate my Self-Hosted Liferay DXP / Portal product? (Video Tutorial)
To activate your Self-Hosted Liferay DXP or Portal product Administrators should navigate to the Product Activation tab on the left sidebar navigation in Customer Portal and select DXP or Portal.
Click on the Actions button in the right corner and select Generate New.
You will then be prompted to fill out the following:
- Product
- Version
- Key Type
- Physical or Virtual Server Production, Non-Production, or Backup Key Types:
- Subscription Term
- For each instance to be activated
- Host-Name
- IP Address
- MAC Address
- For Virtual Cluster Key Types:
- Environment Name
- Description
- Cluster Nodes
- Physical or Virtual Server Production, Non-Production, or Backup Key Types:
Liferay SaaS and Liferay PaaS deployments do not require a separate product activation key to deploy. However, you can use Liferay Developer Keys for local testing and development.
