We are pleased to announce that Source Code sharing is renewed! Please find listed below the changes you can expect:

  • Customers will no longer need to request the source code of hotfixes and updates since it will be delivered at the same time when the hotfixes and DXP updates are built. They will be available for download.
  • Old fix pack/hotfix tags will be renamed to legacy-* to avoid confusion. If one downloads a new hotfix (i.e.: 7.4), it will contain both new and old tags. However, we recommend to use the new tag, as legacy tags (legacy-*) will be deleted by January 2024 with no further notice.
  • Build files will be included in the repository, helping the IDEs to understand the source code structure. Please keep in mind that customers will still not be allowed to build DXP for themselves.
  • Customers won’t need to request the source code generation for newer versions (7.4 and 7.3). We will also be making this change to older DXP versions in the near future.
  • A hotfix will now become a single commit and not multiple merge commits as they previously were. This change is to ensure that the system can work reliably and the repository size can be smaller.
  • We will continue to use the same repository and keep it available as usual.

Please note: It will take a few days to update all fixes but they will be completed no later than September 15th. If you do not find the source code along with your update, please follow the current process.
