How do I deactivate an activation key?
When a DXP or Portal instance is shut down and no longer in use, Administrators can free up that subscription slot by deactivating the activation keys on their respective Product Activation page in Customer Portal.
From your project page on support.liferay.com, click Product Activation > [Product Type, such as DXP].
Locate the key in the list.
Select the key(s) you would like to deactivate and click the checkbox next to the key(s).
Click the "Deactivate" button that appears in the upper right.
A confirmation message will pop up asking for your confirmation before deactivation occurs.
Once the key is deactivated, it will no longer be listed in the Activation Keys table.
