Cloud Activation Key Expiration Announcement

Note: please note that Liferay has renamed its Liferay Experience Could offerings to Liferay SaaS (formerly LXC) and Liferay PaaS (formerly LXC-SM).

Summary

Some Liferay Cloud customers have noticed an activation key expiration warning in their Liferay instances (shown below). If you have noticed this  warning in your instance, please do not be alarmed as our team has already addressed the issue.

Details

As of today, our team has updated the activation keys in the platform. The keys are automatically recognized and deployed to the Liferay instance. No additional action is needed if the liferay service version is 4.2.0 or higher. If it is lower than 4.2.0, there is only one step that must be taken in order to leverage the new keys.

  1. Restart the liferay service
