Description

This does not happen in ee-6.1.x.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Add a document
  2. Search for the document (either in the control panel or in the documents and media portlet)
    • The search results will never show up. The "Searching, please wait." message will show forever.

Expected result:
The document shows up as a search result.

Actual result:
The search will go on forever and will not finish.

This also happens for web content.

This came in between 2/15 and 2/17.

I don't have an exact commit that broke this, but here is a range.

Search results will show up if the user refreshes page, although when searching tags, an error message will appear in the search result.

This issue is caused by LPS-31496.

Working as of:

PASSED Manual Testing following the steps in the description.

Fixed on:
Tomcat 7.0.34 + MySQL 5. Portal 6.2.x GIT ID: a9d45eb296cf69f2df61f381ea8bec5973d3c49b.

The search works fine now and doesn't go on forever. I've checked web content and documents and media.
