Description

By default UTF-8 should be added to supported consumer encoding

Bug - A problem which impairs or prevents the functions of the product. LPS-31074 Portal administrators configuring WSRP consumers should be able to specify which the encoding of messages to send to the WSRP producer.

  • Minor - Minor loss of function, or other problem where easy workaround is present.
  • Closed - The issue is considered finished, the resolution is correct. Issues which are not closed can be reopened.

LPS-31074 allows admins to set the encoding. However, admins must also specify UTF-8. We should make this implicit.

PASSED Manual Testing following the steps in the description.

  1. Go to WSRP.
  2. Add a [Producer].
  3. Copy the URL.
  4. Add a [Consumer].
    1. Set [Markup Character Sets] to ISO-2022-JP.
  5. Edit the consumer.

Reproduced on:
Tomcat 7.0 + MySQL 5. Portal 6.2.x GIT ID: a52d1523ea2f84d12b6c133264c08b88466765fc.
Plugin GIT ID: f82600e3a949c8525dcbbbc6d96852d9605cecbc

There is only have ISO-2022-JP.
