Documents and Media chooser doesn't work when Liferay is relocated to a non-root context using portal.ctx

Upping priority to match the original (duplicate) issue - this is one that BitNami is waiting on so that their relocated Liferay stack distributions work with the Welcome theme.

I'm having the same problem of the suplicated JIRA (LPS-29050). The documents and media portlet ignores my contextpath (/coopfund).

Any extra information about that?

Can see the error: in the file:

\html\js\editor\ckeditor\editor\filemanager\browser\liferay\frmresourceslist.html there are a javascript function that prints the link of each image with this line:

var sLink = '<a href="#" onclick="OpenFile(\'' + ProtectPath( fileUrl ) + '\');return false;">' ;

and the variable fileUrl begins with /documents/... instead /context/documents

The real bug is in class: com.liferay.portal.editor.fckeditor.receiver.impl. DocumentCommandReceiver that creates all the urls beginning with "/documents"

The underlying problem is that the Document Library's DLUtil.getPreviewURL method does not take into account relocated paths. In the case of LPS-29050 it caused the Resource Importer to incorrectly encode the path to the images imported into the document library when Liferay is first started. I worked around this in the ResourceImporter's FileSystemImporter.java class like this (look for the call to {{PortalUtil.getPathContext() }} ).

PASSED Manual Testing using the following steps:

1. Add "portal.ctx=/reloc" in portal-ext.properties.
2. Start portal.
3. Go to Control Panel > Documnets and Media.
4. Upload a image.
5. Go to Web Content.
6. Create a structure contains Documents and Media row.
7. Create a template associate with the structure and add "<a href="$

">Document Library Link</a>" in Launch Editor.
8. Create a web content with the structure and select the image.
9. Add Web Content Display portlet to Welcome page.
10. Select the web content.
11. Click Document Library Link.

Reproduced on:

Showing Not Found message because there is a duplicated context root in path of the image.
