When a new Blog entry is added, subscription is gone; Custom notification settings do not appear correctly when notified

Description

When a blog entry is scoped and a user is subscribed, the adding a new blog entry will erase the subscription.

Custom email notifications do not display the correct settings. I.E. When email is sent from Blake Lou, it still shows as Joe Bloggs.
