Description

Comments on file entries in Document Library should generate Social Activities as well. (Not just actual uploads.)

Hi Gustav Carlson,
Thank you for your report. I was able to reproduce this issue in Liferay Portal 6.0.6 and our current trunk head. I will update this ticket to reflect this issue.
Tested following steps:
1. Create a page.
2. Add Activities portlet and Document Library portlet.
3. Create a document on Document Library portlet.
4. Add a comment to the document.
After adding a comment to the document, there is not anymore message on Activities portlet.
If adding a comment to a blog entry on Blogs portlet, on Activities portlet says "who commented on who's blog entry with blog's name".
Document should have same behavior.

Hello,

could someone reclassify this report as a "Feature request"? I think it would make more sense - and increase the chances of it being implemented.

Document Library is one of the core portlets that comments made to the items should be included in the Activities.

It seems that at some point the fix/request was planned for inclusion in 6.2, but it got removed.

I ran into this issue while testing LP 6.2 M3.
