Asset Publisher with Manual Asset Selection of existing content in Configuration

Description

It is not possible to select existing web content in the manual asset selection of the Asset Publisher configuration.

Steps to follow:
1) Add the Asset Publisher to a page
2) Select the configure icon and choose 'Configuration'
3) Change the 'Asset Selection' type to 'Manual'
4) Click the 'Select Existing' button and select the 'Web Content' option
5) Click on a listed Web Content item and see that the Asset Publisher still displays the text: "No assets selected.".

I have the same problem in 6.0.6. I am new here so i dont know the rules exactly but, is there a real solution to the problem here?

I also have the same problem in 6.0.6 and desperately need a fix. This appears to only happen when selecting assets with any revision history. Assets that have never been revised are selected ok.
