Description

A very useful feature for forum moderators is the ability to split a thread into two or more parts. This allows dividing a very long thread, moving an unrelated question to a new thread, etc.

This feature should take advantage of Liferay's threaded message system to allow splitting entire branches of the thread hierarchy without forcing the user to select each individual message as other forum products do.

Has this implementation included a corresponding "split thread" permission? I would probably only want moderators to be able to split threads, not end users.

To add more details, it uses the new MOVE_THREAD permission, since it's pretty much the same thing.
